I'm putting aside about $500 for the material, dressmaker, and shoes. I might be over-planning, but hey.

I'm on her case about getting a dressmaker, don't worry. :)

I would presume it would be quite a bit less for the men though. Not quite so much material. Sorry if the last post freaked you out.

shooes no, but the men have a boot covering thing so they will prolly just wear normal dress shoes inderneath, girls i was thinking just some lil flat like dancing shoes cos heals arent very medieval and i hate heals. :p i dont wanna start fittings and dressmaking till next yr maybe march or april ill start fully on that.

oh thank goodness your not making us wear heels.

we're going to have to keep the weather in mind when choosing the material, otherwise we'll have like a smelly bridal party or pass out or something, i think a pale purple will also be pretty for brides maids dresses & less hot too.

what about hair & makeup?

We need to keep in mind the concept of slip and slide with some soles of flats... on the grass...

yeah i agree with the "thank god no heels" lol. and like, what are the body measurements for the size 12 dress... and yeah i agree with katty.. pale purple (plus if its too dark we'll stand out more than the bride)

size measurements
8- bust 88cm, waist 68cm, hip 104cm length from base of neck 147 cm
10 -bust 90cm, waist 71cm, hip 107cm length from base of neck 147 cm
12 - bust 94cm, waist 75cm, hip 111cm length from base of neck 147 cm
14 - bust 99cm, waist 80cm, hip 116cm length from base of neck 149 cm

but obviously thats jsut the pattern sizes when making hte dresses they weill be customed to ur actual bust, waist, hip and height. so yeah.
